I bought both these books and We hired Mr. Meisner and his Law Group.
Bottom line, in my opinion Mr. Meisner is a Outright CROOK!
He is vulgar, disrespectful, dishonest, has no compassion for the disabled, violent in nature, has a terrible temper, I find him to be very unprofessional.
Basically I found him to be shady and crooked!
He doesn't deserve a star but I'm forced to give at least one to post this
This book is garbage, Do Not buy. Non of the stuff in here applies to townhouses or townehomes. I found Mr. Meisner to be very unprofessional, vulgar, and dishonest. He totally misrepresented his billing and the content of his contracts.
Beware of Mr. Meisner and his law firm, they appear to have many things in their contract that they do not tell you are there, like signing away your jurisdictional rights over to him so he can sue you in the courts of his choosing, and telling you you have a one payment for services discussed contract and he starts charging you hourly so your money disappears and you owe him thousands without ever knowing it or being told. Yes beware Of Mr. Meisner and his contracts. He actually has in his contract that he gave you time to have another lawyer look at it and plenty of time for you to look at it. My experience was that they would not show us the contract until the end of the meeting, after they got our money and they were shuffling us out of their office, then they pull out this contract and force you to sign it as your being escorted out because he claims he has other clients. Never got to see it before signing and we got screwed Royally. We are in the process of turning his firm in to the Attorney Greivance Commision and have already filed a complaint with Consumer Protection.
One of the worst books own the subject that I as a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser has ever read. Filled with misleading and improper information meant to mislead one into becoming a client. Once a client the Meisner firm makes a concerted effort to mislead the client and becomes highly aggressive and highly degrading to the client when they disagree. They have also been known to mislead people into taking specific action and then repudiating there own advice causing the client to become more deeply involved and spending large amounts of money to get out of the mess that they create with there original advice. My opinion is that they are not to be trusted and the they will attempt to pad their bills with ridiculous efforts to charge for the dispute of the bill, which is to the best of my knowledge is illegal , unethical and corrupt. Mr Meisner himself is an aggressive bully that attempts to intimidate handicapped clients into submission through threats, screaming, name calling and unethical vulgar language....Worst reference material on the subject that I have ever reviewed......
Chapters on operations were of most interest as well as the Q and A section. Attempt at condom humor not appropriate or funny.
